Bev is a specialist in karst hydrogeology and registered as a professional geologist in Texas (License #1198). She has been exploring and studying caves since 1991, and professionally in Texas since 2002. Bev's areas of expertise include dye tracing, dye analysis, karst feature mapping and excavation, groundwater sampling, groundwater chemistry analysis, groundwater dating, cave surveying, cartography, and GIS work. She also holds of a USFWS endangered species permit (TE014168-0) to collect and study federally listed endangered Texas karst invertebrate species.
